Frequently Asked Questions

  • Hypnotherapy is a gentle, guided process that uses deep relaxation to help you access the subconscious mind — where many of our patterns, beliefs and emotional responses are held.

In this relaxed state, we can begin to explore and shift what may be holding you back, in a way that feels safe and supportive. The techniques I use are designed to help identify the root cause of what you’re experiencing, allowing for deeper, more lasting change.

You remain aware and in control throughout, simply allowing your mind and body to soften.

  • Each signature session is a personalised experience, shaped around what you’re going through and what you need in that moment. We begin by taking a little time to connect and explore what’s coming up for you.

The session starts with gentle breath work and Reiki to help you settle, relax your body, and create a sense of safety. From there, we move into a hypnotherapy journey, guided by the reason you’ve come, allowing us to gently explore and work at a deeper level.

We then close the session with Reiki, helping you integrate the work, ground yourself, and leave feeling calm and supported. We’ll work with your subconscious mind, energy and and body to allow deep relaxation.

The whole experience is intuitive and held at a pace that feels right for you. People leave feeling lighter, more grounded, and with a clearer sense of direction.

  • Reiki is a gentle energy healing practice that helps bring your body and mind back into balance. It works by channelling energy to where it’s needed, supporting you to release tension, calm your nervous system, and reconnect with a deeper sense of ease. It’s a deeply relaxing experience — many people feel a sense of warmth, lightness, or calm during and after a session.

  • This really depends on you and how you feel. Everyone’s experience is different, and we move at a pace that feels right for you.

With hypnotherapy, most people tend to have between 5 to 10 sessions to create deeper, lasting change. That said, some people feel a shift in just a few sessions, while others choose to continue for ongoing support.

With Reiki, it really depends on what you’re looking for and how your body responds. Some people feel a noticeable shift after just one session, while others benefit from a series of sessions to support deeper balance and ongoing wellbeing.

If you’re working through something specific or long-standing, a few sessions closer together can be helpful. Others choose to come regularly as a way to relax, reset, and maintain a sense of balance.

We can always see how you feel after your first session and take it from there.

  • Over the years, I’ve explored and trained in different approaches to hypnotherapy, and I’ve naturally been drawn to the ones that go deeper than surface-level change. My focus is always on understanding what’s underneath the issue, rather than just managing the symptoms.

In sessions, we often gently explore when something first began for you — sometimes going back to earlier experiences or key moments that shaped how you feel today. From there, we can start to understand the root of what’s going on and begin to shift it at that level.

I also draw on Gestalt, systemic therapy techniques, inner child work, and parts work while in trance, depending on what feels most supportive for you.

Over time, I’ve seen how powerful this approach can be. I’ve had the honour of witnessing real, deep shifts in people — where something softens, releases, and life starts to feel different again. That continues to shape the way I work, and it’s what I feel most passionate about supporting.
